Job summary

Away Resorts in the United Kingdom is seeking a friendly team member for our bar, restaurant and events. You will be serving on the bar, delivering delicious food to guests, clearing tables and ensuring guests enjoy their visit.

The role is 40 hours per week, permanent, with weekends required. Salary is £12.71 per hour, paid weekly, with training provided and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks at the bar.
• Wait on tables and take food and drink orders, deliver food, clear tables.
• Respond to guests and ensure they are happy.

Hours of Work: 40 hours permanent- Some Weekends required

Hours of work: Variable - availability between 06:30 am - 12:00 pm including weekends and occasionally lunch service!

Salary: £12.71 per hour - paid weekly!

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be welcoming guests into our restaurant or bar and ensuring they enjoy their visit. This includes:

• Serving drinks at the bar
• Waiting on tables – taking food and drink orders, bringing out food and clearing tables
• Responding to guests and ensuring they are happy
• Cleaning and resetting tables

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

• Enjoy working as part of a busy team, always ready to help
• Care about the smallest detail and demonstrate the highest of standards
• Have a friendly and positive attitude

It’s the icing on the cake if you have experience, but don’t worry if you don’t, we provide lots of training.
