Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to work across Six West and The Tipsy Eagle. You’ll support the F&B Manager to lead a busy team, deliver brilliant service and help drive sales.

This is a permanent, year-round role with a 40-hour week. Based at Appletree Holiday Park in Lincolnshire, the role combines hands-on leadership with rotas, coaching, stock control and guest feedback handling, plus holiday periods and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced and busy F&B environment.
• Experience of driving revenue; training can be provided.
• A problem solver who can manage difficult situations well.
• A champion in delivering excellence in customer service with evidence of previous successes.
• Preferably a level 2 hygiene certificate but this is not a deal breaker as training on site is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of F&B assistants to provide excellent service in busy bar and restaurant.
• Assist with rotas to ensure right people are in the right place.
• Coach the team to deliver excellent service and upsell.
• Work with kitchen to control stock, reduce waste and protect margins.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints positively and professionally.

What you’ll be doing

Leading by example, you’ll be motivating a team of F&B assistants to provide excellent service to customers in our busy bar and restaurant. This includes:

• Being at the heart of the action, serving customers, clearing tables, solving problems and leading your team
• Supporting the F&B Manager with rotas and making sure we have the right people in the right place
• Coaching the team to deliver brilliant service and confidently upsell
• Looking for opportunities toincrease sales and spendacross our venues
• Working closely with our kitchen team to control stock, reduce waste and protect margins
• Handling guest feedback and complaints positively and professionally
• upporting performance, training and development within the team
• Building a motivated team who take pride in delivering a great experience – even when we’re at our busiest One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

If you feel you have the ability to lead a team with confidence in a busy environment and you can tick the following boxes, we want to hear from you:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced and busy F&B environment
• Experience of driving revenue, we can help you with training

• Preferably a level 2 hygiene certificate but this is not a deal breaker as we can do this training on site
