Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is seeking a Restaurant Team Leader to deliver exceptional customer experiences across our in-store restaurants. You will coach staff, support the management team and drive service excellence.

In this role you will lead by example, manage daily operations, ensure food safety standards, and promote our Dobbies Club benefits while delivering a friendly, fast-paced service that keeps customers coming back.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing hospitality roles.
• Supervisory experience in a team setting.
• Food safety qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
• Punctual and well presented with a can-do attitude.
• Eager to learn and adapt in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and coaching other staff and deputising for management
• Giving great customer service across restaurant transactions
• Work with the team to maintain staff efficiency and high service levels
• Drive sales through customer interactions and promote the Dobbies Club benefits
• Ensure compliance with Restaurant Operational procedures and monitor standards
• Assist with allergies and dietary requirements knowledge
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant
• Some keyholder responsibilities may be required
