Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Customer Advisor to deliver excellent customer service, promote membership benefits, and support daily restaurant and store operations. You will engage with customers across the store, help with queries, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality or retail experience, a friendly attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role in hospitality or retail.
• Strong desire to deliver a memorable customer experience.
• Ability to work well in a team and build positive relationships.
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented with a can-do attitude.
• Keen to learn new skills and gain experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable handling queries, allergies, and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service across store areas and transactions.
• Promote Dobbies Club membership to drive sales and engagement.
• Support product knowledge and assist with customer queries, including dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the store and restaurant areas.
• Assist on shopfloor tasks, stock handling, till work, and deliveries when required.
