A local restaurant in England seeks a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee operations, manage staff, and enhance customer experience. The role includes daily cash management, scheduling, and budget adherence, with a strong focus on efficient service and quality food. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy restaurant, be customer-focused, and possess knowledge of menu offerings and dietary needs. We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to run our busy Restaurant and to be an integral part in development ideas that we have for over the next 24 months.
Serving up to 800 diners per day in the height of summer, the G&Tea House is a destination venue for this area.
The layout consists of an indoor seating area, an outdoor patio, private dining pods, outdoor pizza and BBQ kitchen and outdoor bar and terrace.
The G&Tea does run based on good food and service in an, relaxed setting.
We are part of a holiday park with over 100 holiday lodges on site but open to the public also with around only 20% of trade coming from the holiday park.
Attending weekly HOD meetings or arranging for a representative to attend.
To work through the company P&L sheets monthly and understand how to keep the F&B figures within budget.
Creation of the weekly front of house rotas, monitoring and editing all F&B rotas with the head chef as needed to maintain required staffing levels daily.
To compile the weekly F&B non‑food items orders.
To complete a monthly stock take.
Monitoring prices, GP% and recording of anomalies.
To keep wet stock levels at a controlled level, rotated and within date.
The completing of weekly F&B safety checks on the Prime Health and Safety systems.
Complete recording of any accidents and incidents on the Prime system.
Daily cashing up аген F&B and recording of any financial discrepancies.
Arranging staffing layout for each shift ensuring team members are placed on their strongest sections.
Working well with the chef team assisting the control of orders being placed.
Having a good working knowledge of all food and drinks available.
Having a good knowledge of allergens and dietary intolerances.
Being customer focused, ensuring all guests are attended to prior and post receiving their orders. kier> בצ")
Boosting F&B revenue and customer experience by encouraging upselling, refills and additional items.
Encouraging each staff member to acknowledge every guest upon arrival.
Overseeing the online booking system.
Monitoring and replying to enquiry emails and answerphone messages.
Completion and dispatch of online orders including but not limited to Gift vouchers and Afternoon tea.
Assist the social media company with weekly posts
Checking content is correct, informing them of specials, events and points of interest.
To make sure that all staff are in correct uniform at all times.
To complete any other tasks asked of you by the management team.
Undertaking any training required by the company to do your role.
