Job summary

GAUCHO Birmingham is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and drive guest experience, sales and compliance. You will work with the General Manager to beat the budget, develop hourly staff, and uphold Gaucho's standards across service, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Work with the General Manager to execute plans to beat the budget and drive top-line sales.
• Oversee team objectives and development plans; implement succession planning.
• Inspire, guide and educate hourly team members to Gaucho standards.
• Ensure a fully trained team compliant with quality and safety audits (shield and food).
• Support the General Manager with local initiatives and advertising.
• Enforce brand standards to ensure strong guest feedback and mystery diner results.

Job description

GAUCHO are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our GAUCHO Birmingham team! The successful candidate will be fully accountable for the restaurant in terms of guest experience, finance, sales growth, legal compliance and team development FOH. The Restaurant Managers work closely with the senior managers to run a smooth and successful operation in terms of finance, product and people. The Restaurant Managers take charge of the controllable lines of the P&L as delegated and delivers the budget (bar stock etc).

Key Responsibilities of the GAUCHO Restaurant Manager

• Work with the General Manager to execute the plan in place to beat the budget, driving top line sales
• Oversee team objectives and engaging development plans, and executing the succession plan in place
• Drives the Gaucho culture, inspires, guides and educates hourly team members
• Ensures a fully trained team regarding compliance and is personally fully trained, achieving above 95% on shield and food audits
• Supporting the General Manager with bespoke local initiatives and local advertising
• Enforcing brand standards in regard to consistent strong guest feedback and mystery diner results
