Qualifications

• Proven and current experience in the Acute Medicine setting.
• Hold registered mentor or teaching/education qualification.
• Clinical competence in IV drug administration, venepuncture & cannulation.
• Completion of preceptorship.

• Oversee the day‑to‑day function of the ward.
• Support the Ward Manager with day‑to‑day management.
• Manage post holders within the ward establishment.
• Lead a team and ensure an appropriately skilled and effective workforce.
