Are you an experienced Sales Consultant with a talent for securing high-value deals (£100k to £10M) within the recruitment industry? Join our team and bring your expertise in Business Development solutions to drive success and innovation! We provide a national base for our people to deliver business critical support services to our many private and public Sector clients. We transform services through digital solutions and innovation, ultimately improving the customer experience and enabling smarter services. This role will focus on tapping into key markets including the NHS, Utilities, Financial Services and other regulated sectors. You will develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target sectors. Leverage knowledge of recruitment technology platforms to offer innovative solutions. Collaborating with finance, commercial, legal, and the delivery teams to prepare bid responses and proposals. You will spend most of your working week operating remotely from home. However, there will be an expectation to attend one of our UK offices – Newport or London (preferred), monthly for team engagement. In addition, there will be occasional travel to collaborate with clients on‑site and attend conferences and networking sessions.

What you will be doing
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on high-value contracts.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract closure.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver fit for purpose assessment centres.
  • Manage the portfolio of new opportunities and ensure proper governance.
  • Prepare and review commercial aspects of bids, ensuring complete service inclusion.
  • Track and manage risks throughout the bid process.
  • Manage the bid budget effectively.
  • Resolve complex technical, strategic, and business issues.
  • Proven experience in a high‑value sales role within the recruitment industry (Private and/or Public Sector).
  • Background in securing high volume recruitment projects. Capable of selling HR and payroll services to clients in both private and public sectors.
  • Success in selling to the NHS, Utilities, Financial Services, Government, or Local Government sectors.
  • Demonstrates expertise in candidate attraction, comprehensive knowledge of diverse vetting requirements, and proficiency in utilizing multiple candidate assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of selling technology.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Optional qualifications
  • Familiarity with the Government Commissioners Code.
  • NHS Recruitment Principles.
  • Familiarity with FCA accreditation.

Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: Up to £65,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Generous Incentive Scheme, £5,400 car (cash alternative) allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund.
