Manpower (United Kingdom) in Manchester is seeking a Resource Planning Coordinator to join our busy Scheduling Team. You will coordinate and dispatch field engineers across a 24/7 operation, ensuring customers receive the right support at the right time while meeting service levels.

During the initial training period, you will be office-based in Manchester, transitioning to a 40-hour rotating 24/7 shift pattern with days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Desirable Experience Scheduling, workforce management or resource planning experience.
• Service delivery, field service or customer operations experience.
• Knowledge of SLAs and operational performance measures.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and coordinate field engineer appointments and service visits.
• Monitor engineer availability and optimise resource utilisation.
• Manage emergency, priority and escalated service requests.
• Liaise with customers, engineers, partners and internal teams.
• Monitor work queues and service delivery performance.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and minimise service delays.
• Maintain accurate records within scheduling and workforce management systems.
• Support operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
