Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is hiring a Field Engineer Scheduling Agent in Manchester for a permanent, full-time role. The position coordinates field engineers for a 24/7 operation, ensuring timely support and adherence to SLAs.

The role starts on 16th November with a base salary of £26,436.80 plus shift premia and overtime opportunities. Office-based during training with potential hybrid work after completion, and a 40-hour rotating shift pattern in full operation.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate field engineer appointments and service visits.
• Monitor engineer availability and optimise resource utilisation.
• Manage emergency, priority and escalated service requests.
• Liaise with customers, engineers, partners and internal teams.
• Monitor work queues and service delivery performance.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and minimise service delays.
• Maintain accurate records within scheduling and workforce management systems.
• Support operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
