Job summary

Compass Community Limited is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker in Worthing to build meaningful relationships with children in our care. You will help facilitate activities, support health and wellbeing, and assist with daily tasks while safeguarding at all times.

Training includes a two-week classroom induction and a week of shadow shifts, with a clear path to achieving a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months, supporting your career progression with Compass.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships.
• Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• No prior experience required; induction and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate children’s activities and appointments and support in all aspects of their lives.
• Ensure health, wellbeing and safeguarding at all times.
• Support the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
