Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a Residential Support Worker in Ledbury to help support children in a caring, safe environment. No prior experience required, with two weeks of Skills to Care induction and a 12-month path to Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

You will assist with activities, safeguarding, paperwork and daily tasks, while joining a team committed to the ethos of Potential Not Perfection and a strong focus on development and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or above (Ofsted requirement).
• Full manual driving licence is required.
• Willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate children's activities and appointments while safeguarding at all times.
• Meet and support a diverse group of children and young people.
• Assist the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
