Compass Community Limited is seeking aResidential Support Worker to help transform the lives of children in our care. You will support daily activities, health and wellbeing, and safeguarding, while working closely with the team to maintain a nurturing home environment.

Previous experience is not essential. Training includes Skills to Care induction and shadow shifts, with a clear pathway to a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months, enabling career progression within Compass.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; role supports career development.
• Skills to Care induction includes 2 weeks classroom training and a week of shadow shifts.
• Commitment to achieve Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate children's activities and appointments, supporting health and wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, with supervision as needed.
• Support the wider team with domestic tasks like cleaning, cooking, and food shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
