Compass Community in the United Kingdom is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help children thrive in a safe, caring environment. You will support activities, health, safeguarding and daily routines, while building trusting relationships and promoting wellbeing.

No prior experience is required as we offer Skills to Care induction and a 12‑month path to Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. The role includes a starting salary of £27,976 plus a £60 sleep‑in top‑up, and generous holiday

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children in care.
• No prior experience required; Skills to Care induction with two weeks classroom-based training and a week of shadow shifts.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate children’s activities and appointments, support health and wellbeing, safeguard at all times.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, including those needing higher levels of supervision.
• Support the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
