Job summary

Compass Community Limited in Burnley is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help transform children's lives. You will support young people in everyday activities, health and wellbeing, safeguarding and development in a nurturing, non-judgemental environment.

No prior experience is required as extensive Skills to Care induction and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare are provided over the first year; you will become a Level 3 qualified Residential Worker while progressing within

Qualifications

• Age 22+ to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Must be caring and able to build positive relationships.
• Valid manual driving licence is required.
• Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Experience not required; training provided.
• Eligible for Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate children's activities and appointments, supporting health and wellbeing.
• Protect and safeguard children at all times.
• Meet diverse children and provide supervision as needed.
• Support the wider team with domestic tasks, cooking and shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
