Supported Living Worker – Adults with Additional Needs

Location: Cranleigh, Surrey, United Kingdom

Salary: £26,951 – £27,926 per year

The Role

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding career? Join our team as a Supported Living Worker in a supported living home in Cranleigh, Surrey. This is a crucial role where you will help adults with additional needs—including autism, learning disabilities, and communication challenges—live independent and fulfilling lives.

This is a full-time position (37 hours per week on a rota, including alternate weekends), with part-time hours also considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Support: Assisting with tasks like cooking, shopping, and cleaning.
  • Community Engagement: Participating in activities such as gym sessions, nature walks, trips to the seaside, and college visits.
  • Emotional Guidance: Helping tenants manage their emotions with kindness and guidance.
  • Advocacy: Acting as a companion and advocate for the people you support.
Candidate Requirements

No experience is required. We are looking for individuals with empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude. We will provide all the necessary training, including a fully-funded Level 3 Health & Social Care diploma.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required due to the semi-rural location. You may be asked to use your own vehicle or a company car to transport tenants (mileage will be reimbursed).
