Job summary

Unite Group is seeking an Operations Assistant to create a welcoming, safe and engaging environment for residents and visitors in our student accommodation. You will be the friendly face in the building, handling enquiries, supporting check-ins and viewings, and helping ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, hospitality, retail or residential environment.
• Enjoy working with people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable in a busy environment.
• Confident handling enquiries, complaints and resident requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, face-to-face customer service to residents and visitors, responding to enquiries and resolving issues.
• Support the full resident journey, including check-ins, check-outs and day-to-day resident support.
• Deliver property viewings and support bookings, helping drive occupancy and retention.
• Support resident engagement activities, helping create a welcoming and vibrant community.
• Respond to maintenance issues, raise requests for resolution and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Record enquiries, cases and operational issues accurately within internal systems.
