Job summary

FirstPort Limited in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, is seeking a Residential Development Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a development and its residents. This live-in role includes ensuring safety, coordinating contractors, maintaining communal areas, and supporting a Residents Association.

You will build relationships with residents and families, authorities and health services, handle emergencies, and assist with partner sales processes, working with peers across the development

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset with a passion for a high standard of service.
• Strong communication skills with ability to resolve issues and complaints effectively.
• Understanding of health & safety and experience handling challenging or emergency situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
• Organised and methodical with experience keeping accurate records.
• Outgoing personality, team oriented, proactive and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high profile around the development/office and ensure residents are checked within requirements.
• Carry out daily checks to ensure the building is safe and secure; maintain records and protect data; manage contractors and oversee cleanliness of communal areas.
• Be responsible for works being completed, raise orders, monitor progress and sign off completion.
• Encourage and support the formation of a Residents Association and work with them to enhance the resident experience.
• Build and maintain links with residents' families, local authorities, doctors, social workers, and health services as required.
• In emergencies, contact the appropriate response team or authorities.
• Assist with sales listed with Retirement Homesearch and help new residents settle in.
• Collaborate with a peer team of Development Managers and travel to meetings monthly or annually.
