FirstPort Limited in Gosport, Hampshire, is seeking a Residential Development Manager (Ref 26675). The role involves overseeing a development, ensuring safety, and delivering excellent resident service. You will work with contractors, engage residents, and coordinate with local authorities.

This live-in position includes rent-free accommodation and a salary of £23,205 per annum plus benefits. The successful candidate will have strong customer service, communication, and health & safety skills,

Qualifications

Customer service experience, ideally face-to-face.
Strong communication to resolve issues.
Understanding of health & safety requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high profile around the development and office; ensure residents are checked.
Carry out daily checks to keep the building safe and secure; maintain records and protect data.
Manage works by raising orders, coordinating contractors, monitoring progress, and signing off completion.
Encourage Residents Association and social events to enhance resident experience.
Build links with residents’ families, local authorities, doctors, social workers, and health authorities.
In emergencies, call the appropriate response team or authorities.
Assist with sales through Retirement Homesearch; welcome new residents.
Work with local Development Managers and travel to team/company meetings monthly/annually.
