Job summary

FirstPort Limited is hiring a Residential Development Manager in Enfield, Middlesex. The role is a live-in position with rent-free accommodation and 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm). Salary is £26,026 per annum, with benefits including London Weighting.

You will oversee a development, ensure safety, manage contractors, and support resident engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, communication, health & safety awareness, IT proficiency, and solid administration

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or housing environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage contractors and safety standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high profile around the development / office, ensuring residents are checked within our requirements.
• Carry out daily checks to ensure the building is safe and secure; maintain records and protect data; keep communal areas clean through contractor management.
• Be responsible for all works, raising orders, managing contractors, monitoring progress and signing off completion.
• Encourage and support the formation of a Residents Association to enhance the customer experience and plan events.
• Build links with residents' families, local authorities, doctors, social workers and health authorities as required.
• In emergencies, contact the appropriate response team or authorities.
• Assist with sales listed with Retirement Homesearch; welcome new residents and help them settle in.
• Travel to team meetings and company events as needed.
