Job summary

FirstPort Limited in Downham Market is seeking a Residential Development Manager to oversee a development for residents. The role is a live-in position with rent-free accommodation and a 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, with additional duties as needed to ensure safety and community well-being.

You will support resident relations, health and safety, and work with Retirement Homesearch to welcome new residents, while coordinating with a local team and external partners.

Qualifications

• Customer service passion and ability to deliver exceptional service.
• Strong communication and issue resolution skills.
• Understanding of health and safety and emergency procedures.
• Proficiency with IT and Microsoft Office applications.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to keep accurate records.
• Outgoing, self-motivated and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high profile around the development and office; check residents’ needs and compliance.
• Carry out daily safety and security checks; maintain records and protect data.
• Manage works, raise orders, supervise contractors and sign off completion.
• Encourage Residents Association and support social activities for residents.
• Build links with residents’ families, local authorities and health services as required.
• Handle emergencies by contacting the appropriate response teams.
• Assist with sales activity with Retirement Homesearch and welcome new residents.
• Collaborate with peer Development Managers and attend monthly/annual team meetings.
