Job summary

University of St Andrews Residential and Business Services are recruiting a House Service Supervisor for David Russell Apartments. You will manage keys, housekeeping tasks, stock control of materials, and related admin duties, while assisting with planning for student arrivals and summer turnover.

This is a permanent post: Term Time (36 weeks) 30 hours/week and Summer (16 weeks) 36.25 hours/week, on a 52-week contract. Training is provided and a diverse range of people is welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not essential; full training provided.
• Commitment to excellent customer care and staff leadership in a small team.
• Flexible, organised and capable of managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Allocate keys and manage housekeeping duties.
• Stock control of housekeeping materials and related admin tasks.
• Plan for student arrivals/departures and summer turnover.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth front-facing service.
• Maintain a customer-focused and friendly service attitude.
