Job summary

SPACE is seeking a friendly, reliable Housekeeper to join our student accommodation in St Andrews. This permanent, part-time role offers 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 10:00am to 2:00pm, providing consistent daytime hours.

As part of the housekeeping team, you will keep communal areas clean, prepare bedrooms, and support residents by maintaining a welcoming environment. Previous experience is beneficial but the right attitude matters.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards in communal areas and rooms.
• Willingness to work daytime hours Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas, bedrooms, studios and apartments as required.
• Perform room cleans and turnover during busy periods.
• Report maintenance issues to management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and COSHH and safety procedures followed.
• Support the team during busy arrival/departure periods.
