Scotsman Space Student Accommodation in St Andrews is recruiting for Front of House - Reception roles. You’ll be the first point of contact for residents, contractors and visitors, delivering a welcoming, professional service.

Full-time roles are 40 hours per week with shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, including some weekend work. Part-time weekend roles are also available (Sat 12:00pm–8:00pm, Sun 8:00am–8:00pm).

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role in student accommodation, property management, or premium hospitality.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with residents, contractors and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Customer-focused mindset and dedication to delivering excellence in service.
• Crisis management: calm under pressure, prioritising safety and security during emergencies.
• Organisational skills: manage parcel logging, visitor logs and administrative duties.
• Team collaboration across departments to maintain an efficient operation.
• Proactive and solution-oriented in addressing issues and meeting resident needs.

Responsibilities

• First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial contact for residents, contractors and visitors with a high-calibre service reflecting brand values.
• Resident Support: Respond to inquiries, assist with issues and requests ensuring a seamless experience.
• Parcel Management: Oversee receipt/logging of parcels and facilitate collection by residents.
• Visitor/Contractor Management: Sign-in and manage access for visitors and contractors.
• Emergency Response: Act quickly in emergencies, following safety protocols and guiding residents.
• Enquiry Management Support: Assist Senior Sales Manager with incoming enquiries.
• Property Viewings: Conduct viewings for prospective residents and present housing options.
• Event Support: Assist in planning resident experience events.
• Arrears Management Support: Communicate with residents about payment deadlines.
• Property Maintenance/Hygiene: Help maintain cleanliness and presentation of spaces.
