London Southbank University are excited to be be recruiting for the post of Research Development Manager to join their highly skilled Research, Enterprise and Innovation (REI) department. The REI team collaborates with academics to leverage the opportunities, funding and industry connections needed to deliver LSBU’s ambitions for research and enterprise. The partnerships it creates focus on tackling social, economic and environmental challenges; delivering real-world outcomes and solutions that have a tangible impact.

This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to take a lead role in the coordination and development of large, interdisciplinary research proposals, working across Schools and supporting the Principal Investigators. The postholder will provide guidance on the UK and international research funding landscape, horizon scanning for major funding opportunities that fit with the University’s identified research themes and initiate, develop and maintain excellent relationships with external funding bodies and stakeholders.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be degree educated, preferably a PhD, be highly motivated and bring a thorough understanding of the UK and international research funding landscape and research policies and processes. Experience within Open Data, Research Integrity and Ethics is highly desirable.
