Job summary

DN Colleges Group in Doncaster is seeking an Admin/Technician Reprographics to join the Facilities Support team. The role blends hands-on print production with administrative duties to deliver a high-quality printing service across the organisation.

You will operate printing and finishing equipment, advise staff and students on services, manage stock and supplies, and contribute to continuous improvement while travelling across Doncaster and Scunthorpe as needed.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in printing, reprographics or administrative support.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate print and finishing equipment and support print room operations.
  • Provide customer-focused reprographics service for staff, students and external users.
  • Manage stock control and issue materials.

Are you a customer-focused individual with excellent organisational skills and experience in printing, reprographics or administrative support? DN Colleges is seeking an Admin/Technician Reprographics professional to join the Facilities Support team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality printing and reprographics service across the organisation. This varied role combines hands‑on print production with administrative responsibilities, supporting both internal and external customers, staff and students. You will work with a range of specialist printing and finishing equipment, provide advice and guidance on available services, manage stock and supplies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of printing operations. Please note this is a group role, there is a expectation to travel across Doncaster and Scunthorpe,

  • Operate a range of print and finishing equipment, including folding, perforating, laminating and binding machinery.
  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused printing and reprographics service for staff, students and external customers.
  • Provide advice, guidance and training to staff and students on available printing and finishing services.
  • Manage stock control processes and issue materials as required.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the print room, including ordering paper, stationery and postage-related supplies.
  • Complete administrative tasks including copying, typing, filing and managing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Ensure printing and postage recharges are accurately allocated to departments.
  • Support quality processes, audits and business improvement initiatives across the organisation.
  • Assist in developing more efficient ways of working, including process improvements and automation where appropriate., In DN Colleges we call this role Admin/Technician Reprographics but you might know this as Reprographics Technician, Print Room Technician, Print Production Assistant, Reprographics Assistant, Printing Services Technician.
  • We are not looking for agency support for this role.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to support organisational policies relating to equality, diversity, safeguarding, health and safety and data protection.
  • Flexibility may be required to meet service demands, particularly during busy periods such as examinations.
  • This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check.
  • Experience working in a customer service and reprographics environment.
  • Previous experience of copying and printing services and equipment.
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working with us
  • Salary of £24,826 to £25,511 per annum.
  • Permanent position working 35.5 hours per week.
  • 30 days annual leave, plus 8 public holidays and two weeks at Christmas.
