Job Summary

This role is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Operate assigned production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and identify any defects or issues.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Material Handling: Assist in the movement, loading, and unloading of raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
  • Training and Development: Engage in training programs to enhance skills; prior machine operation.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the print & production department and team members.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, equipment logs, and quality control reports.

  • Education: Functional skills
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or direct experience operating machinery preferred but not essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating production equipment and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Physical attributes: Ability to stand for extended periods.
