Job summary

Mears Group PLC in London is seeking a Works Co-Ordinator to support scheduling of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring efficient resource management across a responsive repairs contract in the London area.

You will maintain IT systems, ensure PDA updates, and produce weekly reports while delivering a customer-focused service that keeps repairs on track and within target times. The role offers full-time permanent employment with 42.5 hours per week and a salary up to £32,709.

Qualifications

• Reporting into the Business Support Manager; perform administrative tasks as required.
• Chasing up works; sending letters to tenants about works.
• Booking appointments with sub-contractors.
• Typing up quotes and notes for completion of works.
• Assisting sub-contractor portal; running weekly reports.
• Sending reports to senior management; stocking stationery.
• Ensuring IT systems are used and PDA updates.

Responsibilities

• Work with all team members to ensure an efficient and productive service for tenants and client.
• Monitor and update repairs status, including jobs raised, scheduled, cancelled or overdue.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and professional communication with service users and stakeholders.
• Act as a key liaison between tenants, maintenance workers and client for ongoing work.
• Follow and support company policies, procedures and training.
• Provide backup to other coordinators and attend meetings and training as required.
