Job summary

Mears Group PLC in Peterborough is looking for a proactive Planner to join our repairs team. You will schedule operatives and subcontractors, allocate works, and keep residents informed while ensuring repairs are completed promptly to high standards.

The role involves using IT scheduling systems, maintaining records, supporting KPI monitoring, and prioritising emergency jobs. You will collaborate with administrators, supervisors and contractors to deliver a seamless, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience in the above role with similar duties.
• Proven ability to schedule multi-trade repairs and manage workloads.
• Comfort using job management/scheduling IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule operatives and subcontractors to deliver repairs on time.
• Monitor and update repair jobs daily, including appointments and follow-ups.
• Communicate clearly with residents, operatives and stakeholders.
