Job description

Overview

We’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced Forklift Drivers to join our clients busy and growing international removals team in Thurrock.

Responsibilities

• Managing the checking in and out of goods
• Moving and unloading storage containers (manual handing)
• Providing assistance to the HGV Drivers and Porters in the moving and handling of customer goods when required
• Operating the forklift and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into location
• Completing the necessary paperwork
• Undertake forklift safety checks and report any defects.
• Following H&S Guidelines and carrying out Banks-person duties when required
• Undertake regular training as required

Qualifications

We’re keen to speak to experienced forklift drivers who hold valid Reach and Counterbalance licences, possess warehouse and problem‑solving skills, and have held a similar position for at least one year.

Salary

Up to £33,000 in line with skills and experience.
