Job summary

GoodWe is seeking a Solution Engineer for the UK & Ireland, focused on pre-sales activities and customer training. This remote (UK) role involves direct interactions with customers, distributors and EPC partners to promote GoodWe solutions and support sales growth.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing and product management, coordinating trainings and events, and translating market needs into product requirements. A mobility expectation of ~30% travel is stated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience in technical support with direct customer interaction is a plus.
• Good command of English; other languages are a plus.
• Exposure to solar PV, inverter, energy storage, or utility industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage GoodWe’s pre-sales activities in UK & Ireland.
• Grow customer trust in GoodWe’s solution.
• Promote GoodWe’s products and increase demand from installers to distributors.
• Ensure closeness to the market through customer trainings and distributor events.
• Build knowledge of market requirements for PV and storage systems including specs, design, certification.
• Relay market requirements to product management and R&D to stay ahead of competition.
• Coordinate and assist with Beta testing and pilot projects to ensure feasibility of solutions.
