Job summary

GoodWe is seeking a Solution Engineer for the UK & Ireland, delivering technical pre-sales support, customer trainings, and market-facing activities remotely across the UK. You’ll collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to tailor solutions for PV, storage, and inverter systems.

Strong communication, travel up to 30%, and a technical background are essential. This role offers exposure to a diverse, international team and opportunities to influence market growth in renewable energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience in technical support with direct customer interaction is a plus.
• Business fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Exposure to solar, PV, inverter, energy storage, or utility industry is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage pre-sales activities in UK & Ireland.
• Grow customer trust in GoodWe’s solution.
• Promote GoodWe’s products and increase demand from installers to distributors.
• Maintain closeness to the market through trainings and distributor events.
• Develop knowledge of market requirements for PV and storage systems.
• Transfere market requirements to product management and R&D.
• Ensure feasibility of solutions before market release, coordinating beta tests.
