Job summary

GoodWe Europe seeks a Solution Engineer for the UK & Ireland to support technical pre-sales activities, conduct customer trainings, and represent GoodWe at events. You will engage with distributors and EPC partners and collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams.

You will build market knowledge on PV and storage systems, translate requirements to product management, and help ensure solutions meet customer needs while driving growth and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience in technical support with direct customer interaction is a plus.
• Fluency in English; additional languages helpful.
• Exposure to solar PV, inverter, energy storage, or utility industry is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support GoodWe UK's and Ireland's pre-sales activities.
• Grow customer trust in GoodWe’s solution.
• Promote GoodWe products and drive demand from installers to distributors.
• Ensure market closeness through trainings and distributor events.
• Develop market knowledge of PV and storage system requirements (design, certification).
• Relay market requirements to product management and R&D to maintain competitive edge.
• Coordinate and assist with beta testing and pilot projects.
