Job summary

GoodWe Europe is seeking a Solution Engineer for the UK & Ireland region. The role focuses on supporting pre-sales activities, delivering customer trainings, and representing GoodWe at exhibitions and events. You will interact with distributors, EPC partners, and cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and product management.

The position emphasizes deep technical involvement, market proximity, and driving sales growth while maintaining customer loyalty. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electrical engineering.
• Business fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with direct customer interaction is a plus.
• Exposure to solar PV, inverter, energy storage, or utility industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and managing GoodWe’s pre-sales activities in UK & Ireland.
• Growing customer trust in GoodWe’s solution.
• Promoting GoodWe’s products and increasing demand from installers to distributors.
• Ensuring closeness to the market through customer trainings and distributor events.
• Building knowledge of market requirements for PV and storage systems including product specifications and design requirements.
• Transferring market insights to product management and R&D to stay ahead of competition.
• Ensuring feasibility of product solutions before market release, including coordinating Beta tests and pilots.
