Job summary

GoodWe is expanding its UK & Ireland team and seeks a Solution Engineer to manage technical pre-sales, run trainings, and represent GoodWe at events. You will interact with distributors, EPCs, and customers to tailor solar PV and storage solutions and support regional growth.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams and help translate market needs into product features while maintaining a customer-centric approach across the UK & Ireland region.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience in technical support with direct customer interaction is a plus.
• Business fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Exposure to solar PV, inverter, energy storage, or utility industries is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex topics simply.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage GoodWe’s pre-sales activities in UK & Ireland.
• Grow customer trust in GoodWe’s solution.
• Promote GoodWe’s products and increase demand from installers to distributors.
• Ensure closeness to the market through trainings and distributor events.
• Build market knowledge on PV and storage system requirements and certifications.
• Transferring market requirements to product management and R&D.
• Ensure feasibility of product solutions before market release, including beta testing and pilots.
