Victim Support is hiring a Triage & Early Interventions Officer to support older people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The role is home-based with occasional travel to meet teams and attend days, typically 9am–5pm, 22.5 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 1 January 2028.

You will engage with older adults by phone, assess risk, and respond to needs promptly, supported by comprehensive training. Applicants not required to have prior experience will be trained before client contact.

• Talking to older people (65+) on the telephone to address engagement and improve services.
• Ability to work with resilience and adaptability in a care-focused role.
• Willingness to travel within the West Mercia region when required and to attend team meetings.
