Victim Support is seeking a Triage & Early Interventions Officer to support older people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The role is home based with travel across the Wes Mercia region, 22.5 hours per week, fixed term until 1 January 2028.

You will speak with individuals from diverse backgrounds, assess risk, and tailor a support plan to help them cope and recover. Training and ongoing support are provided within a caring, inclusive charity.

Competenze

• Strong communication with older adults from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to conduct risk and impact assessments for tailored support.
• Ability to work in a small team within a large charity.
• Willingness to undergo robust training and ongoing support.

Mansioni

• Talking to older people (65+) across Herefordshire & Worcestershire on the telephone to improve engagement and services.
• Carrying out risk and impact assessments to create tailored support plans.
• Refering to ongoing support where required and assisting victims to cope and recover.
• Working as part of a small team within a larger independent charity to develop skills and personal progression.
