Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Systems Engineer for Service Providers to drive technical sales activities with Tier 2 UK service provider customers. You will translate priorities into architectures, leverage HPE Networking capabilities across routing, switching, security and cloud operations, and shape solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will lead discussions, workshops, and POC activities, build trusted relationships with technical decision-makers, and collaborate

Qualifications

Typically 6+ years of experience with service provider networks in pre‑sales, sales or architect roles.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Industry certifications like JNCIP/JNCIE, CCNP/CCIE, CISSP are beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of IP routing, MPLS and segment routing.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the technical sales strategy and account plan for assigned customers.
Translate customer requirements into clear solution architectures and value propositions.
Design and propose HPE Networking solutions across routing, switching/DC, security, automation, and cloud operations.
Lead technical responses to RFIs, RFQs and related processes with high-level designs and BOMs.
Coordinate specialists to deliver a consistent customer experience and strong technical outcomes.
