Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise UK is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Networking team and support customers across Public Sector, Education, Healthcare, Local Government and Enterprise environments.

You will partner with Account Managers to understand customer requirements, deliver technical presentations, design networking solutions, and run proof-of-concept activities, building trusted relationships with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in networking or a customer-facing technical role.
• 5+ years' networking industry experience.
• 2+ years' pre-sales experience or equivalent customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience running demonstrations, workshops and proofs-of-concepts.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies.
• Able to work independently with customers while leveraging wider specialist support where needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and business challenges.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops.
• Design networking solutions across the HPE Networking portfolio.
• Support customers through discovery, evaluation and proof-of-concept activities.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and partners.
• Develop expertise across enterprise networking technologies including Wi-Fi, switching, security and SD-WAN.
• Work alongside experienced technical specialists while developing your own pre-sales capability.
