Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Networking is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support UK customers across Finance, Retail, Public Sector and Enterprise markets. This hybrid role focuses on technical leadership, trusted advisory, and collaboration with account managers to drive complex opportunities.

You will run workshops, deliver demos, lead evaluations and shape security and networking strategies for major opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in networking, pre-sales, consulting or customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong enterprise networking background.
• Proven experience engaging directly with customers.
• Ability to translate business and technical challenges into solutions.
• Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills.
• Experience leading proof-of-concepts and technical evaluations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers on strategic customer opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and solution design activities.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and executive presentations.
• Run proof-of-concept engagements and technical evaluations.
• Support large and complex sales opportunities.
• Influence customer networking and security strategies.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers where appropriate.
