Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY UK LIMITED is seeking a Service Sales Manager to lead the Grid Integration Service business across the UK and Ireland. You will shape and execute the regional service sales strategy, promoting lifecycle services, long-term service agreements, and modernization opportunities.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, project management, and business development to deliver customer value while driving ambitious growth targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related discipline.
• Experience in service sales, account management, or business development.
• Background within energy, utilities, power systems, industrial, or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Knowledge of Grid Integration, HVDC, FACTS, renewable integration or asset lifecycle management advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Grid Integration Service sales strategy across the UK and Ireland.
• Drive orders, revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Identify and convert new service opportunities across the installed customer base.
• Expand lifecycle service offerings and grow long-term service agreements.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support contract and risk management.
• Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing service sales team.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver outstanding customer outcomes and sustainable growth.
