Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Service Sales Manager to join the international Grid Automation Service Sales Team in the UK. You will lead service tenders from initial customer request to contract closure, develop account plans, and drive growth for the service portfolio across substation automation and related solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline is required.
• Proven experience in sales or service of power systems or solutions.
• Experience with electric substation equipment (IED, RTU, SCADA, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Operations & Maintenance practices of substation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implement service sales strategy and growth plans for the installed base.
• Promote upgrades and value-added solutions across the Service portfolio.
• Conduct sales calls and customer facility walk-throughs to generate leads.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage service tenders from initial request to contract closing and handover to operations.
• Provide technical direction for service sales training and market insights.
