Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our Grid Integration team in the UK. The role focuses on driving growth across Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, Data Centre & Transport segments, leveraging Gas, Hybrid & Air Insulated Switchgear solutions.

The successful candidate will combine strong Electrical knowledge with commercial acumen to identify opportunities, engage customers early in project lifecycles, and position Hitachi Energy as the partner of choice

Qualifications

Proven experience in technical sales within power transmission and distribution.
Strong knowledge of electrical grid infrastructure, substations, and transmission and distribution systems.
Experience with Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) products and solutions.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth for Grid Integration solutions across T&D, Data Centre, Renewables, Industrial and Transport segments.
Lead up-front selling of solutions with customers, consultants, EPCs, and utility stakeholders in early project stages.
Promote and sell GIS, Gas, Hybrid & Air Insulated switchgear and related substation technologies.
Develop and execute account plans for utilities and industrial customers, and key partners.
Identify market opportunities and create strategies to increase market share and profitability.
Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers throughout the customer journey.
Collaborate with engineering, proposal, and project teams to develop technical and commercial solutions.
Support bid management activities, including proposal preparation and contract negotiations.
