Job summary

NAES United Kingdom seeks an Electrical Support Engineer to provide fleet-wide HV/LV electrical engineering expertise across seven locations in the UK. The role requires extensive travel with a home-based setup, reporting to the Fleet Engineer and collaborating with station personnel, contractors and OEMs.

You will develop maintenance strategies, investigate faults, oversee outages and contribute to long-term electrical system improvements while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical Engineering with UK standards awareness.
• Experience in power generation or heavy industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to obtain site electrical authorisations and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide fleet-wide HV/LV electrical support to maintain plant reliability.
• Investigate faults, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate outages with stations, contractors and OEMs to minimise downtime.
• Develop preventive and condition-based maintenance strategies for the fleet.
• Maintain electrical asset registers and related documentation.
