Job summary

NAES United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical Support Engineer to provide fleet-wide HV and LV electrical expertise for UK power generation assets. The role is remote/home-based with extensive travel across the UK, supporting Thornhill, Derby and Viking facilities while covering the seven-location fleet.

The successful candidate will investigate faults, plan outages, optimise maintenance strategies and ensure compliance with UK safety and engineering standards, reporting to the Fleet Engineer.

Qualifications

• HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Relevant electrical engineering experience in power generation or heavy industry preferred.
• UK electrical safety requirements and engineering standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide fleet-wide HV and LV electrical support and ensure safe operation.
• Investigate faults, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate outages, maintenance planning, and contractor activities.
• Develop fleet maintenance strategies using CMMS.
• Manage electrical engineering projects with budgeting and QA.
• Maintain fleet electrical asset registers and critical spares.
• Collaborate with operations and external stakeholders on electrical work.
