Optima Health is seeking an EAP Helpline Counsellor to support employees nationwide on a remote basis with occasional travel.

You will answer inbound calls and live chats, provide confidential psychosocial support, assessments and signposting, while meeting daily call targets.

Essential qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and/or Psychotherapy and active professional registration; CBT qualification is a plus. Excellent computer literacy is required.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and/or Psychotherapy required or strongly preferred.
• BACP registration or working toward accreditation.
• Telephone support experience is essential.
• A CBT qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
• EAP experience desirable but not essential.
• Computer literacy is essential, with the ability to work with different systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide inbound telephone and live chat support to employees and managers.
• Conduct telephone clinical assessments and refer for ongoing psychological support as needed.
• Signpost to external agencies when appropriate.
• Meet daily/weekly goals for calls and callbacks to ensure timely support.
• Administer psychometric tools and deliver psychoeducation to callers.
