Job summary

The Portfolio Group is seeking an EAP Counsellor to join their 24/7 helpline team in a client setting. You will deliver structured telephone and video counselling, perform rapid assessments, and guide callers to appropriate signposting while contributing to ongoing professional development.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma level 4 in Counselling with 150 hours, are BACP registered, and proficient with MS Office. This onsite role offers progression and a supportive, best-in-class workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma level 4 in Counselling with minimum 150 counselling hours.
• Registered member of the BACP or equivalent.
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient and effective telephone counselling service to all callers.
• Demonstrate ability to work with distressed individuals and those at risk.
• Provide in-the-moment support using a solution-focused approach aiming for one-call resolution.
