Job summary

Compass Associates, a leading provider of employee health and wellbeing services, is seeking a qualified counsellor to support organisations across the UK. You will conduct initial assessments, deliver brief interventions via telephone and video, manage risk and safeguarding, and work within a high-volume clinical team to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Qualified counsellor with Level 4+ qualification.
• Professional membership with a recognised body (e.g., BACP, COSCA, BABCP).
• Appropriate clinical supervision in place.
• Experience managing risk and maintaining boundaries in a clinical setting.
• Strong IT skills and typing while speaking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial clinical assessments and triage client needs.
• Deliver brief, focused support via booked assessments, telephone and video sessions.
• Complete thorough risk assessments and follow safeguarding protocols.
• Manage a structured counselling caseload with time-limited support.
• Work collaboratively within a busy clinical team and maintain high standards.
