Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in the United Kingdom seeks a senior pre-sales engineer to join our Enterprise Browser and SASE platform team. You will partner with Sales Specialists to help customers detect and prevent advanced cyber threats, providing technical guidance and PoCs across geographies.

This remote role requires travel up to 50% for in-person client meetings. You will build trusted advisor relationships, architect validated solutions, and relay feedback to product management on feature requests.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering in Zero Trust, Networking, or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 Networking (switching, IP routing, OSPF, BGP).
• Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with customers and effectively solving problems with a can-do attitude.
• Understanding of NGFW, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, DLP and BYOD solutions.

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers with Sales Specialists.
• Identify and document problems solvable by integrated solutions.
• Architect and propose validated solutions addressing identified problems in each environment.
• Deliver presentations and PoC, RFP/RFI responses to prospects and clients.
• Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support, and adoption.
• Maintain technical leadership across relevant technologies (data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking).
