Job summary

SonicWall is seeking a Solution Engineer in the United Kingdom to support sales and channel technical activities with up to 70% remote work in your country. The role focuses on enabling partners and customers through technical discovery, demonstrations, and PoCs, while driving strong channel relationships and advocacy for SonicWall’s security portfolio.

Qualifications

8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5 years with MBA.
Cybersecurity CISSP Certification.
SNSA & SNSP SonicWall Certified—Training provided.
Familiarity with governance and compliance issues (HIPAA, PCI, SOX, FERPA, GDPR).
Experience with networking tech: NAT, firewall, VPN, PKI, virtualization.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery conversations to qualify customer requirements and build a BOM.
Conduct technical sales presentations and demos across the SonicWall portfolio.
Demonstrate SonicWall value proposition and competitive offerings.
Build at least 10 trusted relationships with channel partners and their technical decision makers.
Maintain a personal lab for demos and development; support remote partner trials.
Lead PoCs with partners or customers; collaborate with product teams in beta testing.
Team with support to preserve partner/customer relationships; share best practices.
Engage with VARs/MSPs/MSSPs on managed service sales, deployment, and support.
